# Tabletop Arc

Tabletop Arc is a TTRPG continuity platform, not a one-off generator.
The system of record is a campaign canon ledger (World Bible / State).
Every session updates canon as a structured diff (NPCs, locations,
factions, quests, items, open threads), with evidence linked back to
transcript timestamps and confidence levels (HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW).
Outputs are dual-track: GM-private spoilers vs player-safe recaps.

## Canonical terminology

- Arc: a campaign on Tabletop Arc.
- Episode: a single session within an arc.
- Lore Wall: the campaign wiki -- canonical NPCs, locations, factions,
  quests, items, lore, handouts, rules, and house rules.
- Canon Ledger: the structured record of campaign facts; every change
  is a diff with evidence and confidence.
- Public Arc: a published, indexed campaign page with shareable URL,
  episode timeline, world codex, and per-entity wiki pages.
- Continuity Report: GM-private notes covering open threads, pending
  reveals, and "to confirm next session" items.
- Recap: player-safe summary, optionally with annotated entity links.
