Recap

## The Collapse of the Ordning The Ordning, the hierarchical structure that once maintained peace among giantkind, has crumbled. This collapse is no accident, but the result of a conspiracy orchestrated by the kraken Slarkrethel and the vengeful dragon Iymrith. Their machinations began with the murder of Queen Neri and the disappearance of King Hekaton, leaving a power vacuum at the top of the storm giant hierarchy. This opportunistically places Serissa, their daughter, in charge, although her siblings, Mirran and Nym, loom as ambitious figures in the shadow of her fragile regency. Each faction of giants now pursues its own agenda: the cloud giants search for ancient magics capable of recreating a star that once drove all dragons mad; the fire giants seek to resurrect a war-construct from an age-old giant-dragon conflict; the frost giants hunt for a fabled horn of power; the stone giants dig toward a primordial dream God; and the hill giants succumbing to their base desire for endless consumption as they expand recklessly. Behind these power struggles are the sinister moves of the Cult of the Dragon, which manipulates the chaos for their own end, intending to use the cloud giants' magic to summon Tiamat. Meanwhile, Slarkrethel vies for a stable but controllable giant civilization, conflicting against Iymrith, who seeks the complete annihilation of giant society in a war with dragonkind. This delicate dance of power promises devastation unless the emerging heroes can stabilize the situation.
