Traveling northeast, the party reaches Needleheight, Varis’s elven hometown. Varis reveals his real name is Romero. His father, Varis Sr. (400+ year old powerful elf), welcomes them. Varis Sr. shares dark knowledge: he fought The Circle 100 years ago and believes the gods have abandoned the realm. They meet a unicorn, fairies, and werebears. BA rides the unicorn. Mustard and Dawn are put to sleep by fairies for hostility.
